Two excellent points, Anon, though quite how they are germane to the General Election in the UK is unclear.

With regards to the Darwin vs. God article, I believe it is fair that evolution be taught as a theory rather than a fact, and Creationism is so uncomplex and brief a theory, that if it will make the Christian right of America happy to have it covered in Biology classes, then so be it. The only problem arises when Creationism is presented as a fact to the same extent that Darwinism is now.

There is also an argument that Creationism is a subject for Sunday School, not Science classes.
